HOW TO PLAY

Connect in three steps

You need a Wrath of the Lich King 3.3.5a client (build 12340). This site does not give out Blizzard game files.

    Point your client at Ashenforge

    Open realmlist.wtf (or use the realmlist setting in your launcher) and put this line in it:

    set realmlist play.gaminghq.biz

    Login address: play.gaminghq.biz:3724

  2. 2

    Log in once

    Use your Ashenforge game account. The same username and password work for both realms.

    Site Control Center login (ashenadmin) is separate from game accounts.

    Pick Test or Live

    Ashenforge Test

    Best for trying new maps and server changes.

    World port 8086

    Ashenforge Live

    Best for regular play and progression.

    World port 8087

    Characters and gold stay on the realm where you made them — they do not move between Test and Live.

If you cannot connect

  • Check the status page — Offline means the server is not answering right now.
  • Make sure the realmlist line is exactly set realmlist play.gaminghq.biz.
  • Confirm your client is Wrath 3.3.5a / build 12340.

Patch downloads from patch.gaminghq.biz are not advertised here until that host is fixed.
